Hansgrohe AG will invest a total of 31 million euros in developing its production by 2013. As the company has announced, more than 21 million euros of this is being poured into the German sites. The background to this is the Schiltach-based bathroom and sanitation specialist's extremely dynamic corporate performance.
"After the slight downturn due to the economic crisis last year, all the signs are once more pointing to worldwide growth for us," says Siegfried Gänßlen, Hansgrohe AG's chairman. "This is where the "Made in Germany" seal of quality stands us in such good stead in terms of international trade, which is so important for us. German quality and workmanship are important selling points here. It is no coincidence that we generate the lion's share of our turnover with mixers and showers made in Schiltach and Offenburg. To deal with the continuously high demand and to create the basis for further growth, we are now gradually expanding our capacities."
