On December 31, 2008, the Hansgrohe Group employed a workforce of 3,152 worldwide. This is 101 fewer than at the cut-off date for the previous year. The reduction in employee numbers mainly affected the production location in North America, where the company was forced to reduce the size of the workforce in response to the economic crisis and the decline in orders.
