Our range of bath mixers is extremely broad. Exposed installation models are perfect for bathrooms where the connections are already available – for a quick and easy refresh. With concealed installation models, the technology disappears into the wall, enabling you to enjoy a harmonious appearance and ample freedom of movement. Be inspired by the images on this page!
The answer depends on the type of bath tub, your design preferences and your bathroom’s design concept. Here are a few facts and suggestions to help you decide:
A tall, floor-standing bath mixer looks fantastic with a freestanding bath tub. If your tub is flush to the wall or installed in a corner, several installation options are available to you:
Want everything to fit with your design language? It will! If you’ve already chosen a basin tap or shower mixer from hansgrohe, we can also offer you a matching bath mixer. This is because we design our product ranges holistically for the entire bathroom. So you can create a fully harmonious look.
Then select taps with the same FinishPlus surface finish. The versatile hansgrohe colour palette ranges from Polished Gold Optic and Brushed Bronze through Matt Black and Matt White to Brushed Black Chrome and Classic Chrome. And for even greater aesthetic appeal, simply combine the taps with shower heads and bathroom accessories in the same colour too.
Here at hansgrohe, we want you to be able to use your bath mixer with total ease. Our smooth-moving single lever bath mixers enable you to set the water temperature and volume with the utmost convenience. We also offer further convenient functions, which you can specify when searching for a product (see filter function), for example:
With a thermostatic bath mixer, you can pre-set the temperature of the bath water to suit your preferences – and even activate a temperature lock, for example at 40 degrees Celsius. This kind of lock reliably protects you against unpleasantly hot water and even scalding yourself. The thermostatic bath mixer has a control unit that mixes the water and keeps the pre-set temperature stable in the event of pressure fluctuations. Bath mixers, on the other hand, don’t feature this kind of control unit. Here, you regulate the temperature manually, adjusting it to the originally set temperature.
Exposed bath mixers are ideal for bathrooms with existing connections. They can be quickly and easily installed, making them a practical solution for quick modifications. Concealed bath mixers create a harmonious look as the technology disappears out of sight into the wall. These slender models save space, making them particularly ideal for small shower areas. They are also a good choice if you’re a fan of minimalist design and seamless integration into your bathroom.
Most dirt can be removed from your bath mixer without damaging it by gently wiping it with a soft cotton cloth. Please don’t use metal sponges, brushes or micro-fibre cloths. If you really want to use a cleaning agent, opt for a mild, citric-acid-based agent and rinse it off with plenty of clean water afterwards. Never spray the concentrated product directly onto the mixer; always spray it onto a cloth. Further cleaning recommendations can be found here.
Many hansgrohe taps (and shower heads) come with QuickClean technology, enabling you to easily wipe away any limescale. To this end, the taps’ aerators and showers’ sprays feature flexible silicone nozzles. Residues disappear as if by magic, offering you the enjoyment of a full spray experience at all times.
Please clean the diverter’s pull rod and O-ring and lubricate them with silicone grease. This helps the O-ring glide better and enhances the seal. If the problem persists, the diverter should be replaced. Further information can be found in the hansgrohe online spare parts catalogue.
If you have an acrylic bath tub with a rim of at least 8 cm, your bath mixer can be incorporated into multiple separate design elements placed next to one another. This creates a refined look and offers outstanding ease of use. A two-hole or three-hole rim-mounted bath mixer comprises a bath filler and one or two operating elements. Want a bath mixer with a shower in the bath tub rim? Great idea, as this puts your hand shower in easy reach when bathing. To do this, simply choose a rim-mounted bath mixer in a three-hole or four-hole version. With this solution, the shower hose disappears out of sight into the bath tub rim. Thanks to a base set integrated under the rim (the hansgrohe sBox bath tub), the hand shower glides out smoothly and can be hidden away neatly and tidily after use.
